Finishing a teak bathroom floor

I have a relative with teak floors in four bathrooms. What would you use to finish them? The goals, ideally, are (1) to preserve the natural teak look of the floor (notably from spot moisture, spills, etc...), (2) limit any damage to the subfloor and other construction for people who leave standing water on the floor after a shower or bath, and (3) have the lowest possible maintenance requirement. Thoughts?

Teak is the favorite wood for boat decks and trim--I've never worked with teak--but I would be looking at marine finishes as a possibility.
