Cottage sub floor?

Hello we have a cottage in northern Ontario in Canada. It is not winterized but we want to make it more comfortable. The floors are really cold. Would anyone recommend putting down a 1/2 inch of rigid foam insulation on the existing subfloor then an osb board then the new floor?
Thanks

No. That rigid insulation will smash down and your floor will be all over the place.
Do you have a crawlspace, or a slab, or a basement?

The cottage is raised about 2 ft off the ground

Just add R-19 insulation under the subflooring in the crawlspace.
You also need to add a 6 mil. plastic vaper barrier on the bare ground to act as a vaper barrier.
