Question

Bump in corner (quick question)

Upstairs bedroom, with glued down peel/stick tiles about 9x9 to original hardwood. I would like to install new flooring on top of this, and the room is pretty flat/level except in 2 of the corners the floor has a raised bump thats too much to lay new floor over. whats a good way to fix this? i dont want to sand floor down because i am pretty sure its asbestos. help please!
