Basement door threshold question

Hi all,

We are in the last stages of finishing a room in our basement. The drywall is up and we are planning to put carpeting squares on the floor (FLOR to be exact).

However, I'm unsure what to do with the area right inside of the egress door in the room. It drops off a bit between the door threshold and the main part of the floor where I would lay the carpeting. Does anyone have an idea of what I should do here or how I might fill it in?
