Anyone heard of iFloor.com?

Has anyone purchased or know of anyone that has purchased flooring from iFloor.com?

I've never heard of them until I started researching engineered hardwood floors.

They currently have a clearance on flooring and I see several that I'm interested in. Prices look to good to pass up.

Mail order stores can give you low prices because they don't have physical stores and employees. I wouldn't use such though. Shipping must be fairly high so if there's a problem or you need to return, could be fairly full of hassles. What if the box is damaged and some panels have damaged edges? How easy is it to return and get replacement and how long would it take? Even amazon sells flooring but I would think handling and shipping could be problem. I bought flooring from floorandecor. Non stock. There was some different flooring mixed in but same model number. But it was easy enough to get the refund for these, although several people had to look to come to a consensus that the flooring was different.
It was bruce hardwood engineered. So the problem could start at the factory. These are all made in china now. So the quality as well as the distribution controls are sub standard. If you buy fairly cheap flooring, the first thing I'd do is open the boxes at home and check each panel under a bright light and make sure the surfaces are defect free or acceptable and the t&g are not damaged. These, you want to be able to return for refund. Since china, it is more than ever, consumer be aware.
Because different panels were included, after finding out, I had to check each panel with a scrap to make sure the t&g were all same.

Thanks for your response. I decided to not order from them because of it.

I did order 5 free samples. 3 were sold out and the other 2 I didn't like after seeing them in person.

If you are buying engineered or solid, one other thing to consider is length of the strips. Lengths are random, but better quality flooring will get you more longer lengths. Cheap flooring will give you a lot of 12 ans 14" strips.

Decided to go with Home Depot. They have a solid bamboo floor that is 1/2 inch thick. Reviews were good and looked really nice in person. Can’t wait to begin the install in 2 weeks.

Any business which feels the need to start their company name with a lower-case "i" is automatically at the bottom of my list.

The bamboo flooring you chose is exactly what we put in our master bedroom. In the years it has been down, the dogs have not made one scratch on it and their pallet is at the foot of our bed. That's where they "take off" to chase the cat. It laid down perfectly. We started at 8am removing furniture, carpet, padding, staples, tack strips, molding, etc and finished a 12 x 16 bedroom and closet a little after noon.

Good choice.
MTN REMODEL LLC likes this.
