Our DIY home build. Margaskeeterville

Its taken forever to get to this point but we broke ground about a month ago. Both excited and very nervous at the same time because we are doing as much as possible ourselves.

Do you have more pictures? The video showed up as a thumbnail picture, so nothing but dirt there, too.

I was having WiFi issues uploading. Now it wont let me edit that first post. We have found several hundred pcs of tableware so far. Right now waiting on the rain and hope to do the under floor utilities the weekend.

Best of luck on your project. I hope everything goes as smoothly as possible with few glitches/hurdles.

Are you sure? Wife and I moved about 3 tons of dirt yesterday because the excavator didn't show up. Apparently the rain we have had for a week pushed his schedule back. Concrete guy wants to stay on schedule.

It always seems like when you want to get moving on a project, mother nature has other ideas.

Keep moving forward.

My dad always said that once you buy get a house you are never done working on it. I bought mine in ‘96 and found his statement to be absolutely true.

Our 1st (last) house was new also so we didnt have to do much untill we sold. The only major repair we had to do was a water heater.
