Would uninsulated dryer vent melt wall insulation?

I'm residing the house and adding insulation to the walls that previously haven't had any. Pulled out the outside dryer vent, and now need to put it back, at least temporarily to do laundry. Just want to make sure that the heat won't hurt the regular wall insulation for the time being, till I wrap the vent in proper insulation.

My gas dryer punches out a side wall of the house and is in contact with plastic vapor barrier, fiberglass and foam insulation and I have no issues.

Gas dryer vents are rarely insulated, I would only consider it if I had an extremely long run up into an attic.

It's an electric, but it gets pretty hot. Full load dries completely on lowest setting. and it's vented through the wall, about 4 feet of duct or so.
