I inherited an old Jen Air JES9800. While cleaning it, I accidentally pressed the "meat probe" button, and the oven communicated that I needed to "remove the meat probe..." -- but as it turns out I don't have one, so I could not take it out and put it back in in order to stop the incessant beeping (a method recommended in previous posts). The oven kept on telling me to remove the meat probe...we took a few steps into the cycle to try to fool it, cleaned the connection for the meat probe with vinegar, then we gave up and turned off the circuit breaker controlling the oven. Once we turned it back on we got an F1-7 error code indicating a problem with the communication of the control botton panel to the main control panel. Any ideas?
