Locate make/model of the microwave?

I recently bought a condo. When I opened the microwave (above the stove), I found the coupler broken (see photo).

In order to order the right type of coupler, I'll need to identify the part #, or the make/model of the microwave. FYI, it's a large stainless steel GE microwave.

Please advise where to locate the part #, or the make/model of the microwave.

They hide them all over the place. Try looking inside of door, around back etc. See pic.

I went to PartSelect.com web-site and searched by the model #, "GE JVM7195SF1SS". The search result showed at http://www.partselect.com/ModelSecti...E&Type=&Mark=3

From there, I found the coupler Part Number: PS2369898. It seems that it costs $50.20. Is this the correct part that I should order?

I had to drop the serial # in my search, because I wouldn't be able to find anything with both the model # and the serial #.

According to web-site, http://www.appliancepartspros.com/ge...ap4484089.html, "Part Number WB06X10815 (AP4484089) replaces 1555859, AH2369898, EA2369898, PS2369898".

When I do a search by WB06X10815, I get much cheaper couplers. See http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?LH_FS...rowave+Coupler

Hope they are the same quality!

Same at repairclinic.com Can't believe they want 52 dollars plus shipping for a piece of plastic.

The cheaper ones you posted look like they would work. Hard to tell by a picture. Looks good online, then when you get it, it doesn't quite fit right. I know what you mean - been there, done that. Then you wasted 10 dollars plus shipping.

Another thought; Do you have a local appliance store nearby? Take the part with you, you may get lucky. I've lucked out doing this before.
