Freezer coil repair, solder

I had a local appliance repair guy come over to change out a thermostat on a Frigidaire upright freezer. He ended up putting a screw through my refrigerant line on back wall. Him being a big enough duffus to do that isn't getting a torch to it to repair. I'm consider myself skilled at jack of all trades. Is this something I could solder myself or would I be better off scraping the whole project. Any advice in the department would be appreciated. I would also be install in line high/ low taps for gauges, vacuuming and freon as well. I have auto gauges and a couple of options for soldering heat.

What are you planning on doing about the refrigerant? Call the appliance company and have them replace the coil.

How old is the freezer? Refrigerant gone now?

Yes. I already bought a new one. Just wanting to try and salvage this one, it's a nice commercial grade freezer.
