Dryer turns intermittently; needs "hand propped" once in a while

Morning all,

I've got a Maytag MEDC700VW0 Centennial Dryer (elec).

I've noticed the barrel isn't turning every once in a while. It's movable by hand--not entirely bound up.

If I give it a turn or two and then close the door to start it works as advertised.

I saw some posts about a start capacitor, and I am going to look at the exploded parts diagram after pressing post on this one. I'm also reviewing the archives.

There's no squealing or squeaking sounds, and those keep coming up as idler pulley problems.

Looking at belts too.

As always, thanks in advance.
