Two devils

This is what I discovered when I went to check on them in the Living
room because they were too quiet.
They tore the stuffing from a throw pillow. The pup in the middle is
our pup ... the other one is our sons dawg. They are two devils together,
separately they are angels. More cleanup for me.

Try living with 3 mini dachshunds.
This is an everyday thing.

Re: Two devils

I used to have a Chihuahua, that when she got to a box of tissues, it was shredded and tossed into the ceiling light fixture.

How this little girl, got that tissue up to the ceiling is still a mystery.

Otherwise she was well behaved, just don't leave a tissue down in her realm.

Re: Two devils

I've been spoiled, the worst thing that really happened with ours was that one of them used to steal socks and hide them in her kennel.

Re: Two devils

I hate dogs, they need constant supervision to not chew up and destroy things. not to mention noisy as hell.

worse than having to look after small children and they "never grow" up lol. i don't see the appeal of having them.

I think you should have said "I hate the type of dogs that...." because not all dogs need constant supervision nor chew everything up nor noisy. Dog owners know their appeal.

Of course its up to the owner to train and teach the dog obedience. You'll never have a more loyal friend.

On the averages, dog's are way more kind and dependable than humans.

Re: Two devils

I feel your pain (well, it was just a pillow). Our black lab was an amazing dog but a 'challenging' pup, made worse by the fact that we were both still working at the time so lots of pent-up energy during the day. Her thing was gnawing on baseboard and running around the house with the free end of the toilet paper roll.

Not really, left out this is what we deal with most of the time. The one will chew but only if we leave something down for her to do so.
The other 2 donít really chew at all.

Re: Two devils

None of the pups I've had in my life chewed stuff past teething... I've had 6 dogs, 10 if you count my parent's Irish and all the goldens.

Re: Two devils

I had a red Doberman.

What a wonderful and protective dog friend.

But he had attachment disorder like no ones business. Leave him along, and he would go crazy.

Put him in the backyard with a 8' 2x4, and a few hours later I had two 4" 2x4's.

Yup he chewed that 2 by in half. He ate a stuffed chair one time, but that was the last time he got to stay inside by himself, unless he was behind the locked door to the garage....
