There is a place in Germany ( I think), called Fooking.

Saw it on a news program, people keep stealing the sign announcing it as coming up.

There’s a Climax MN too.

The one I like is Gnaw Bone Indiana. No idea how it got that name, but I’ve read that some local residents pronounce it “ga-naw bon-ay. “

It was originally "Narbonne", a French name.

It is amazing how crude and lewd a society we have become when names that meant something else many years ago suddenly have " other meanings"

I've been there. Cute little village with their own micro brewery. The province also has a bunch of town named after 'tickles', which is small strait. Actually, the province has a number of strange sounding places.

Not really a town, but Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump (Alberta) always kind of intrigued me.

There's a little place in Ontario called Punkeydoodles Corners. I used to work with a dispatcher who worked that area and it was his favourite location to send a car to simply because he got to say it.

I agree 100%, My last name if looked up in Google, does not mean what I use it for.

Society has taken it and made a gross thing out of it.

Oh well, ignorance is as ignorance does.

Indeed it is.
And will still be long after I’m gone. And I’m 35.
