It has definitely been cold so far.

Three cities here in Maine will apparently be setting new records for the coldest November ever, Bangor, Augusta, and Millinocket. Where global warming certainly has its indicators, this winter doesn't seem to be one of them, yet. Kind of looking forward to Bermuda shorts in February.

Note, I included the link for the title but that paper requires readers to pay a stipend to see many of their full articles. I don't and I don't buy their paper.

Here also. I blame the Canadians for forcing that cold air to the south.

Re: It has definitely been cold so far.

It's all an averages game.

Some years it has been colder here by now, other years it has been warmer than it has been.

But it's " comin Ester",

It has been 10 degrees warmer so far here, but has started to drop below freezing nightly this week.

I do miss the Southern climate, grew up in far WEST TEXAS, where there was seldom snow, and even saw a few green Christmases there.

While we've had some unseasonably cold spells this month, we've also had unseasonably warm spells. The big thing is how much rain we've be getting. Not sure what the yearly total is so far but about a month ago it was already at the yearly average.

Re: It has definitely been cold so far.

I just read in the local paper that I have had a cold November. Tell you the truth, I had not noticed. Tomorrow supposed to go to 45, and 50 on Sunday. But fear not, one of the top government meteorologists said there is no correlation of cold fall to cold winter.

We don't send you cold weather.

It is the jet stream.

Blame Boeing and the airlines.

We are about a half an inch away from the wettest ever recorded year.

@yuri You can deny it but we know the truth. Which I admit is strange because some of the hottest air on these boards comes from a few Canadians.

Re: It has definitely been cold so far.

Cold weather is caused by "Global Warming."

Really.

That's what the "experts" say.

1200-year mini Ice Age was caused by global warming

We really are living in the Twilight Zone.
