Deadlift Bicep Tears.

Pay attention to what arm the tear happens and how it is turned.

Mine went something like that and all I did was swing a bat.

Overuse. Why don't people realize they're not immortal?( Not you jbfan)
I have a bunch of overuse injuries.

I was just thinking this afternoon, about why I leg pressed so much as a 21 yr-old. Dumb.

Re: Deadlift Bicep Tears.

Had the bicep reattachment year before last. Nothing nice about it. Hurt pretty bad when I did it. Odd part was after about 3 days it didnít hurt at all. Surgery was not a complete success but better.

The way the bone grew back it gave me some coordination issues. Havenít picked up a guitar since. They wanted to do another surgery. I declined. Check out the lump the way the bone grew around the tendon

Lifting an oven. It was a heavy one. Spent three days a week in the gym for years. Less weight then what I work out with. Popped pretty loud to me. Total tear. Anything I have to do with my hand flipped palm up thereís a coordination issue. Anything with my hand down is just the same as itís always been. Weird really.

@ron45 and @BayouRunner , hope you both feel better.

As an aging near-old-goat, I watch this kind of thing closely.

Dooms.
The sad thing is they claim that's the proper way to do it. The guy at the end did it both palms down and didn't get a torn bicep but strained so hard his nose bled.

I didn't get hurt doing this lift. Just trying to help after seeing the pain it can cause.
