Newbie rehabbing horder house

Hello folks. Its not as bad as it sounds. I helping rehab a family members house now. So far 2 dozen+ trips in a station wagon to get rid of the excess stuff. The good stuff still fills up a 1 car garage. On a positive note, the house is not a health hazard, it just suffer from no updates in 20 years. I look forward to some good advice from the pros on the forum. Wish me luck, Dieter

Re: Newbie rehabbing horder house

As a partial hoarder myself, I hope to never have to haul someone's stuff away, it probably would be taken to my place.

Welcome:, Answers we have by the truckload.

Wishing you all luck and good fortune in the re-hab endeavor.

Welcome Dieter.....

You'll find some good /ideas advice here.... but I'll bet most of us are construction hoarders ourselves. We call it inventory... never know when we might have a use for it....

And the day after you give away or toss something that been sitting around for 10 years you or someone's going to need it.
First thing I do when I have to clean out a house like that is rent a dumpster.
