Just to say hello

Greetings, all.

I am a somewhat above marginally capable DIY'er who suffers from a touch of perfective paralysis about doing certain jobs.

The kind that are very visible and have a probability of forcing me to rework things, but I persevere in spite of that.

I have participated in forums like this in the past and am looking forward to collective wisdom, and possibly being able to drop some nuggets in from time to time.

Every job is perfect until you say it is finished.

Re: Just to say hello

Welcome: I loved that Quick Draw McGraw, EL-KABONG, as a kid.

In every job the casual observer sees nothing but how great the project turned out.

Whereas every DIy er, sees his project and only sees his or her perceived flaws.

I am as guilty as the next person at only seeing my perceived flaws.

But with the wisdom of age, I have learned to say nothing, and bask in the adoration of the fans of my craftmanship.
