Hello from Columbus.

Greetings fellow DIYers from the cold, flat center of Ohio. I've got a feeling I'm going to like this site, I found it as a result of a Google search to find some info on a Carrier furnace code. As it turned out, the problem was just a clogged up filter (I just changed it at the beginning of the month). So, an easy fix, luckily, since It's getting down to about 19 dgrees F at night.

I do all of my own home rapairs as well as automoble work for myself, my wife, daughters and friends. I'm sure I'll be finding some valuable info here in the future. I also have a 1972 Suzuki 550 GT that I'm restoring. It's in about 500 parts now in my basement and garage. I'm busy cleaning parts now as it sat in someones backyard for a Really Long Time. This thing is a two-stroke, it's air cooled (with approx 1,500,000 fins to clean and polish), and has front and rear drum brakes. Let's talk about "Old School" Jap bikes!

All right, welcome to DIY. And remember: Let's be careful out there, it's a dangerous world. Selah, Jack.

Hello Jack

My brother completely disassembled a 3 cylinder two stroke bike many years ago. I rode it one time and revving it hard at 50 miles an hour it would almost pull right out from underneath you.

Enjoy the forum.

Welcome to the board...I was just in Columbus last week for work. Very nice folks in Ohio...despite many of them being Buckeye fans!
