A DIY Guy from Alaska

Hi All,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm an amateur DIYer that has more projects than time. I've got a wife and a 2.5 year old son. I'm mid remodel on my house, constantly working on my truck, and tackling all sort of stuff in between. I spend a lot of time searching the internet for tips on my projects and thought it might be time to join a forum. That about covers me, I look forward to getting to know the folks on here.

Welcome to the forums.

You sound like you will fit right in around these parts.

If the average high temperature ever gets to 40F in winter and the sun comes up at 6:00 and sets at 6:00 let me know. I'd like to come back for a short visit under different circumstances than 50 some years ago.

We've had a surprisingly mild winter in Southeast Alaska this year. Today is only our second snowfall. I can certainly get a few more things done when I'm not dealing with the snow.
