moved - 500 errors

Why do I keep getting HTTP Error 500 every time I try to make a new thread for the past couple of days?
I have sent pm to several moderators and webmaster and no reply.
Tried different browsers, different IPs and several different times during the past few days. Also different subforum topics. This was the only thread I was able to post for some reason.

Any help appreciated. Very frustrating forum as it is. thanks

HTTP ERROR 500 is PERSISTENT

Hi,

I was able to post a thread a few days ago, but it is the norm that I always get an HTTP ERROR 500 and can't post threads.

This happened several weeks ago to no avail and to this day again and again. Tried different browsers, changing IP, different time of day, etc and I get the same errors.
Tried posting on different subforums, same error.

I tried posting on the drywall forum today and still error.

What gives? Why so many errors on this forum?

Thanks

Please try changing the title and see if it helps.

We know that this issue is somehow related to something in the title.

What title are you trying to use?

i was able to post it!!!! It seems that the word PICS was the issue then? that is very odd. Why would that word create this 500 error?

I do not yet know what the title issues are we are trying to narrow it down.

I'm getting this error when trying to preview or post a new thread with title "Wall Switch Not Controlling an Outlet".

Changed title to "Wall Switch Inoperative" and it posts.

I'm having the same issue with the title:

Tankless Water Heater Install

However, this works just fine:

Tankless Water Heater

That's a real strange bug. I had the same issue with Chrome and Edge browsers.

It's not a bug in the browser. It's a bug in vBulletin, possibly with PHP. Cricket, google http 500 error vBulletin. Here is one of many hits.

Exact examples like the one you provided are helping us troubleshoot it.

I forwarded this example to our tech team.
