Gettin the boot!

I am repeatedly getting booted off this site. It doesn't happen with any other site I use. It has only been happening 1-2 weeks, but is really a PITA.
Cricket mentioned last week to remove or reset cookies, tried that but no help.

Running a HP pc with Windows.

Any other suggestions?

Re: Gettin the boot!

I use Firefox just for this site for the same reason. I use Explorer for everything else.

Running the same as you Yoda mentioned and no problems.

Me too. Sometimes I can backpage to where I'm still signed in.
Just curious. . . are you on a cell phone or laptop?

Re: Gettin the boot!

Chrome with Windows 10 works great for me. I have Adblock Plus and a complete Norton Security Pkg and no problems.

Once in awhile it is slow to load the pages but rarely crashes.

Re: Gettin the boot!

hmm same here (Firefox win10 Adblockplus, but no problems for me)

So it's kind of a PITA, but perhaps reinstall Firefox?

Might try making sure your flash is updated.

Possibly related; so Windows 10 had an update the other day that messed my clock up (I guess they blew off setting the Alaska time zone... my clock was off by an hour and it messed with all my online financing.) The latest update also did something with my GPU, not all of my monitors get a signal sometimes now (had this happen in the past; doesn't happen every time and if I reboot they all work again. It was a startup conflict between the GPU driver and win10 last time, haven't looked into if it's the same bull**** this time yet.)

Do you have a router? If so try resetting it.

Wish I could use Adblock. It screws up my admin privileges on sites I run and keeps me off my site with my classes. I have to use IE on those.

Thanks I will try that on the next boot!

It is a HP Pavillion lap top, probably 3-4 years old now.

I do have a wireless router and was thinking of rebooting it. That is easy enough to try first, but everything else runs fine. Just this site that gives me fits.

I think sometimes a system just says "**** that IP"

Here's a couple other things you can try in Firefox:

Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available" and Tools > Add-ons > Extensions and disable them one by one, closing down and restarting Firefox with each change.

Might also running Firefox under a different Windows compatibility version.

Adblock can be disabled for any site you want.

Did you clear your cache as well? When you log in, do you check the "remember me" box as well?

Have not cleared the cashe. I did just re-login and hit the "remember me" square. I had not been doing that. I also re-booted my wireless router, so we'll see if either helps and will post back in while.

Please let me know if that helps. Sometimes you have to click the remember me box more than once, but after that, it holds for you.
