There is a logo right on the tool itself. I can't make out what it says. Looks like Logo Starts with a big A-lite i think. Anyway, Google that name and see what pops up.

looks like it works the opposite way of a pliers like a circlip pliers
marked up as amlite

I tried searching for swaging tools as it looks like it is designed to crimp something on and then be able to open it back up. But no luck. Obviously new but I couldn't come up with anything from that name printed on it.

They are Chain Pliers made by Satco and others. They're used for opening & closing chain on a chandelier.

a contractor left it in our basement, said contractor is getting sued for ripping us of and ***ing up our basement, so it's of no use to me than LOL
