Send the saw to a service center.

Trying to determine the direction to turn to remove that nut but search was not helpful. Are you certain which way to turn to remove?

My Battery powered Rigid is a left hand thread.

To tighten, the screw turns opposite the rotation of the blade.

I've always followed, if blade is on the right it is a right hand screw. If on the left it's a left hand screw. Seems like some genius would have come up with a way to mark all LH nuts and bolts, but never saw anything.

Some have an arrow on the guard for rotation direction but it seems they never learned the alffabet.

The shaft may be part of the motor, so repair may be more cost than buying a new saw. Since battery, does b&d sell tool only? Check youtube video AVE. See if he did any tear down on a saw? Check other videos on circular saw repairs. See how involved or simple it is and it should give you some idea what the cost may be. Videos don't have to be b&d. They are similar. Twins may be craftsman and maybe dewalt.

That's why I mentioned service center. I've not owned very many but I can only recall those having a cap screw holding the blade on. Unless the saw would be conducive to being fitted with a helicoil and the OP is capable of installing one, it either goes in the dumpster or to a service center for repair or replacement.

I would find someone with an arc welder to weld a piece of bar stock to the head of the screw. These are usually left hand screws so you turn them clockwise to loosen them.
