My A Hole dog likes to chew on the baseboards thruout the house. What can i use to fix this? Wood filler, spackling, caulk?

When it can't be sanded out and it's not practical to replace - I use Durabond to patch the damage. Regular joint compound will also work and is more diy friendly but it won't be as tough.

Bondo works well, that or Durham's putty would be my first two choices.

Both of those are good choices ..... I usually think Durabond because I usually have a bag of it on hand.

It seems like Durham is a lot cheaper than Bondo at $1.98 for a 1lb can.

Durham RockHard Putty is hard to sand so be sure to apply it neatly!

Whatever you use, make sure it's safe for A hole, sounds like he's still hungry.

If you can't cure dog of his attraction to wood, pick up a length of 2" dowel, cut it up into ten inch pieces and let him chew on that.

My neighbor gave me a leftover,small tub of DAP plastic wood. Not the easiest to work with but hey..it's free. Can i add a lilttle bit of water to soften it a bit , then stir ? It Looks kinda dried.

As for the A hole, he's better behave or imma get a cat

It's been ages since I used any plastic wood? what does it say on the label? probably doesn't mention thinning but should state something about clean up while still wet.
