What to do with sawdust?

Hi all,
I really apologize if I'm in the wrong place.
I just bought 2 books closets. Unfortunately I'm kinda allergic to sawdust smell. Is there any wax to '' kill/ stifle '' this smell?
The carpenter made the closets exactly as I want but the back of the closet is made of pressed sawdust that smells bad for me.
I tried google and found nothing.
Thanks in advance.

Too bad the carpenter didn't know you are sensitive to the odor.

The product is 'particle board' and the glue is off gassing---that process takes a while to complete--many months.---If the smell is making you ill,it would be best to remove the particle board and replace with solid wood.
