uPVC French Doors

Hi folks,

At my friends home there is a large upvc window with a small upvc window above (which opens). I would like to remove the larger upvc window and the wall beneath it, and put in french doors of the same width (4ft) - (opening into a back yard).
I would like to leave the small window in place and fit the door under it- since the room needs as much light as possible.
Would this be a possibility or would I have to buy purpose built uPVC french doors with a window on the top?

Assuming the door opening will allow a standard size door(usually need 84" height), probably. There is likely already a header over the opening, so that part is taken care of. There may be heat ducts or heaters and wiring in the wall to deal with, but those things usually have a solution.
