Hello all, I'm currently going to school for hvac/r its gotten me curious about mine. I want to know the tonnage on my unit to see if that is one of the causes of the massive heat inside the house (other than the hear outside. In Ms. Were lucking to get below 95 )

You may be able to run that info by "American Standard" online and get the tonnage, more likely the BTU rating though. Not sure if American Standard even builds their own units anymore also. Unless things have changed, 12,000 BTU's would be one ton of HVAC.

Not trying to be rude but if you are going to school for HVAC why do you need to ask this question on a DIY site???
If you are serious about the trade then do the research,, Good luck in school.

Looks like a two ton by the 24 in the model number. Trane makes AS units I believe.
