Service on off outdoor switch for Well pump

I wanted to attach an outdoor service switch next to my well water pump. Simple 220 Volt three wire from circuit board to the switch and onto the motor. Otherwise without it I have to walk back and forth inside the house circuit breaker box to outdoors just to work on it. Would 30 amp single throw switch work and do you think it should need fusing?

You need a 2-pole switch to disconnect both hot conductors. Amperage sized to the circuit.

Use a 60 amp AC pull out disconnect. Less than $10.

No fusing needed. That should be already taken care of.
