Reinforce 2x6 garage ceiling joist

We have a flat roof 22x 28 flat roof garage that have 2x6 joist 12” oc. It currently has a support beam with post on 1/3 side. We need to take that out and have no support beams. Any ideas how can we reinforce the joist? Not much head room in garage to begin with.
Thanks

Nominal 6" lumber doesn't offer much support over 11' or so. Can you post a picture of your situation so we can see what you see? Do you have space above the joists, or are they butted up to the flat ceiling?

That’s the current beam that is supported by 2 post.

Could get expensive. One way is you can put beams between the joists to span the same length as the joists. Then just use the 6x6 beam. The lumberyard will help you with sizing the lvls. If that span is 22', my guess is double 2x12 lvl over the post locations. This means you need supporting studs in the wall if stick framed wall and make sure you have a proper footing. If the garage footing is continuous 24x12" at the frost depth, you're fine. If the garage is on slab only, you will have to put in 24x24x12" footing at the frost depth.
You can't put any more beam on the header over the door.

Here’s some more pics. Garage is actually 20x 22. 2x6 joist spanning 20ft.

Another option is sistering lvl to the joists. Not sure but check if there are charts for lvl. Also I think your joists are 2x8 (about 7.5"?). I'm confident that if you sister every 2 bays, you're set. But every 3 or 4 bays may be ok too based on your deck material. It's worth searching for. Your local yard may be able to help, and commit to that store, so it is also worth asking for prices and delivery cost. 20' lvl can be handled alone. They do cost, so I'm wondering if 4-5' space gain is worth it.

BTW, if you scrape off the gravel, and/or if you replace the roofing to modified roll roofing, your load requirement changes to your advantage. If the roof is flat, I'd try to put some slope there.
