PSA - How NOT to Kill a Spider

http://www.kirotv.com/news/news/nati...s-house/nggcN/

You can't make this stuff up.

Quote:
SEATTLE A Seattle house was set on fire Tuesday night by a man trying to kill a spider with a makeshift blowtorch, firefighters said.
The man who rented the house was trying to kill a spider in the laundry room with a can of spray paint and a lighter, authorities said. The flames quickly spread through the room and into the attic.

Didn't say if he got the spider. Probably sue the homeowner for not having an exterminator.

I prefer the roofing torches, commonally known as 'Dragons Breath'
Burns everything so much quicker.

I would have just used my foot. Less collateral damage.

We call them Tiger Torch. This guy is using one and hopefully not roasting his toe.

I wonder if he said, "Hold my beer, I got an idea" to his wife before he tried to kill the spider.

Now wait a minute ToolSeeker.
Some of us grew up as honest 'rednecks', that means we worked outside under the blazing sun............
Now then, who are you trying to label as redneck?
I earned mine.

No, it's "Hey y'all, hold my beer and watch this."

I use a small fatboy torch all the time to kill spiders. Works great. The flame is very controllable. This is only for the big boys that might fall and escape while trying to smush. Little guys get the foot.
