Pretty New House - Garage Man Door Air Gap?

We moved into a brand new house at the end of 2016, and initially all the doors sealed pretty well. After a couple of years of daily traffic, the door that you walk through from the garage into the house (the one we use the most) has opened a gap between the sweep on the bottom of the door and the threshold. If a car is in the garage with the headlights on, you can clearly see the lights shining right through that gap across the floor.

What is the recommended way of sealing this gap back up? Install a new sweep? Add another one (on the back side of the door)? Do something to the threshold itself?

Any advice is welcome, and I'm happy to provide pictures later today if that will help.

Thanks!

I'd be more concerned why the gap has opened up. Unles it's something really simple such a worn/damaged/missing sweep, it suggests structural settling or shifting. If it's not that much, check to see if the door has a sweep that is mounted with slotted screw holes that can be adjusted. Light leakage is a good indicator but fumes leakage is more of a concern.

There is definitely evidence of settling elsewhere in the house (some small drywall cracks at corners, etc) but nothing more than a hairline yet. I'll look carefully at the sweep that is there now tonight after work.
