Moth infestation in a room!

I have a severe moth infestation, in a room that has some snack boxes and clothes...

I removed the foods....

These are small slim moths. Tried naphthalene balls, no outcome.

What's the best way to eradicate these?

Here's a pic from home depot, i dunno which is the best bait?

Pls advice thx

What I do is hang a " bug lite", over a 35 gallon garbage can, in the room, and let it take care of them, Empty the can when you want to, but they don't come back until next years migration season is upon me.

Indian meal moth. My first real job as a teen, in a health food store.

@miserkris1 , as @Nick333 indicates, that moth's caterpillars feed on stored grains.

Tossing the foods likely got rid of the problem. The adult moths don't eat and die after a while of their own accord. It's the caterpillars that cause the trouble. If you have any other stored grains, breads, flour, etc., I'd make sure that stuff is sealed tight, otherwise you'll get another infestation.

Napthalene is more meant to be used on clothes moths, the kind that have caterpillars that make holes in your sweaters, leather goods, etc.

If you haven't bought any bait, save your money and get some of those sealable containers instead.

Re: Moth infestation in a room!

We had this problem when we had food for an African Parrot that we were babysitting stored in our pantry. Even after the parrot and his food went home, we had an ongoing moth problem. The simple solution was to put a bunch of Bay leaves in the cabinet.
