Certa Pro came out and spray painted my kitchen cabinets and the front doors of the cabinets has an orange peel to them. I say orange peel because that is what they called it. They took the doors back to their shop and they still came back with the same mess on it. I read one of your other post saying it's not orange peel but it coming out of a sprayer that's to high pressure and possibly drying to fast. From a distances it's ok but when you are standing in front of it you can see this crappy texture that does look the skin of an orange. It's not smooth like I thought a sprayer would give. No brushes or rollers just wanted a nice smooth finish. They are trying to fix it but it's not any better. They used Emerald Sherwin Williams Paint suppose to be the best I was told. Well it's a hot mess! Any recommendations I should tell them or give them the last article I found on here to fix this mess. Should have it been an oil base? I thought having it professionally done by a reputable painting company Would result in better results and was sure to have it done correctly. Please advise.
Thanks
Orange peel usually comes from the paint not being thinned properly. Only fix is to sand it smooth and apply another coat. White and light colored oil base enamels will yellow over time.
