Re: Twoknots

No, they’re adorable. I wuv them! A real grandkid treat!
How do you make them?

Right now I’m into making Italian sesame seed cookies - they
have an Anise flavor. I’ve made them three times so far trying
to mimic the bakery ones. I think I’ve got it!

Our son came yesterday to help with some fall winterizing. I made
lunch and had these cookies that I made on Friday. He didn’t believe
I made them as they tasted just like the cookies from the Italian bakery.

These are the cookies...they are addicting especially with morning coffee.
And they are good keepers - they even taste better the next day and
the next day. ( if they last that long)

Re: Twoknots

I love sesame seed bars

The only biscottis I get are Nonis brand.

Daughter made variety of cookies for an office once. One man said they were good, even “the stale” ones, referring to her biscotti. Lol

I think the dog cupcakes were decorated with the frosting Tip that makes grass. The pink ears may be fondant. It was a post on FB.

Re: Twoknots

Never heard of Noris brand.

Our other son went to the Bronx a few weeks ago
to have a family meal with his college friend and kids.

He asked what I wanted - I said stop at the bakery
and get me some sesame cookies...( the Bronx has the
best bakeries and restaurants.) He came back with
the cookies and a sweet sausage (supersada) It was heavenly.

And that’s what got me started on making these cookies.
