Under porch cold storage metal door frame

In my basement under the porch is a small concrete room with metal grate venting to make a cold storage area. When we finished the basement I walled off and insulated a larger shelf room for more storage but never bothered with putting a door on the concrete only section. Now I would like to put in a door to isolate the cold to just that concrete section.

The metal frame has me stumped though.
It looks like a door frame but with no provision or cutouts for hinges.

Has 3 machine screws on each side.

What is the best way to mount a door to this?

You could mount the hinges using tapcon screws

Re: Under porch cold storage metal door frame

Is there room to add a wood frame inside the metal frame?

Pictures might help.

The part with the screws are the door stop and the door would go on the basement side
How wide and high is the opening there?

The inner dimensions of the stop are 81" high by 34" wide.

The larger opening is 82.5" high, 36" wide.

That should take an exterior metal door, measure before you buy.
The hinges will want to be set double deep to allow for the surface mount on the frame. You will have room at the bottom to install some sort of threshold. The door should come at 35 3/4 wide.
