Spa Pool Cover

Hi I have a spa pool that has no cover. To buy one costs between about $500 and $800 so I was wondering if there is any way to make one. The pool is locked in a shed so the cover doesn't need to keep children/people out. What I would like is something that can insulate to keep the power bill down. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
