Sheathing or no sheathing?

Greetings.
I have built a huge car port out of logs with metal roofing (came out pretty good) but am enclosing the back 12' x 20' for storage/possible teen room. Framing and flooring is going well and am starting the rough openings for the door and windows and am getting confliciting ideas regarding the outside walls. Do I frame, then sheath the whole thing with ABS, put the windows in, THEN put the T1-11 up?
Or since this is basically a shed, should I worry about the ABS and just T1-11 straight to the framework?

Thanks

If by ABS you mean OSB then no you don’t need it in your case for a carport.

The T1-11 will act as your sheathing and siding and give you the shear strength the wall needs.

You should however at least prime the back side of the T1-11 and install tar paper or other house wrap over the studs before you install the siding.

Ah ha ha!
Good lord. My neighbor was just talking about disconnecting his ASB sytem from his car (stupid) and had that stuck in my head.

Yes, OSB. So paper over the studs starting from the bottom, working my way up, prime the back of the T1-11 and that's it. Cool.
Oh, I guess I'll use that window tape crap too around the windows.

Thanks again.
