Sanding off Sealer

I have a new house with the basement floor sealed. I want to get rid of the sealer and stain the concrete and then seal it. Are there any ways to sand the sealer off the floor?
Thanks

use a sealer remover or use a pressure washer. Sanding or grinding will modify the surface and show up poorly with a stained finish.

There are all kinds of strippers that will work on acryliic sealers, just be sure to get one that is safe in an enclosed environment. I have stripped with an orange gel sealer, forgot the name and then it took a heated pressure washer to get the melted sealer off. It's a heck of a job. http://www.paverprotector.com/concrete-cleaning.html
