Options for partition in laundry room...?

Hello, I'm new to the forum, looks like a nice place!

I have an unfinished laundry room in a finished basement. I can really only finish about 3/4 of it due to the sump, water heater, furnace etc on one side.

I was wondering what options there may be for a partition wall that would still allow access to those items if need be. Sliding closet doors, removable panels and such, I'm having trouble finding others with this problem.

It doesn't have to be high end, just a standard height basement in need of some help.

Depends on your local Building Department requirements. Here are some of mine for appliances: http://www.mybuildingpermit.com/Insp...0checklist.pdf And a minimum code for water heater: page #6: http://www.codecheck.com/cc/images/CC5thEdSample.pdf

Your County may have it on their web site.

Be safe, Gary

17,000 dryer fires a year, when did you last clean the inside of the dryer near motor or the exhaust ducting?
