Masonry work - pro vs diy

I have a stone foundation that needs about 80% repointed. I am wondering what I can expect to spend per sq yd/sq ft to have this done vs. what it may cost me to do it myself.

weighing the options.

Thanks!

We do not offer costs here, just DIY help. but if the joints are that bad, then you have more serious problems then just repointing. You need a pro to look at it.

most of the masons i know would look at this kind of job[pointing] as a time and material job.Just call some masons in your area they would probably be able to give you a ball park estimate

while this is our work, its not rocket science,,, all prices vary geographically depending on workload,,, i usually look at the customer's ride figure you can do this after 1 day if you're not all thumbs & can read/figger/guess
