Masonry Repair walls question

I have a old home from 1931. It has a cellar basement. The walls are sandstone and some type of mortar. The walls are flaking away leaving dust. The house is for sale and I want to make it presentable. What type of concrete can I use to smooth out the walls and then paint? The cement can not have stones it it and it must adhere to a wall.
