Ipe deck

Hello,

I just built an Ipe 36' x 12' deck on the side of my home. The deck is under roof and the house is stone where the deck was built. I'm having trouble deciding what type of railing system to use that would go with Ipe decking and stone walls. I want something low maintenance and was considering the vinyl fairway system but I'm just not sold on that system yet. Any suggestions or recommendations for low maintenance railings for this particular case? Does anyone make an Ipe railing system?

I'm personally a fan of ipe rails with deckorator ballusters. I've also seen some cool rails built with 1/2" copper pipe for ballusters, but that would cost an arm and a leg these days.

I think it would be a shame to build a nice ipe deck and then install a vinyl rail!

Plus you'd have to be shooting the meth heads trying to steal it all the time. There'd be lawsuits, court costs, cleaning up the blood, the media hanging around....

Just to messy to have copper these days.
