Question

insulation

hey guys, hope i'm not being redundant-i've sent this same question 2-3x now.i'm new to this site-so, here i go again. i'm trying to insulate my home's crawl space. the problem is that my house is built with metal studs/joists. i don't have the first clue as to how to place roll-type insulation,or any type of insulation for that matter and attach it to the metal joist/studs.we live on a steep incline,so the space is very tight in some spaces, other spaces you can walk around in .we have vents along the brick part of the crawl space.the floor is rock covered in plastic.all of our plumbing is exposed, also.we live in mid-alabama on a lake,if that has any impact on your decision.hoping you can help me out.thanks.ovidette.

Hi.
The reason you have not had responses may be because your post is difficult to read and understand.
Proper punctuation, spacing and spelling will almost always get more responses.
Many readers start to read it, and if it's incomprehensible, they X out.
As to your question, if you posted a couple of photos, it always helps us to see what you are attempting to deal with. Po)

Ovi: First, why are you insulating the crawl space walls? Would it not be more effective to insulate your floor? Or is that what you are getting at? You may want to contact a spray foam outfit; foam is sprayed on metal buildings all the time.
