Insulating a Porch ceiling

The cottage porch is 8' x 16' made on 2x4 trusses, sheathing and proper roofing. I am insulating the walls (2x4 construction) and covering with 1x6 t&g panels. I also will cover the inside of the ceiling but I am not sure about insulating. Because it is 2x4, there isn't a lot of room and I know the air flow in the roof line would be obstructed. Is this an issue? Should I insulate the ceiling or leave it as is?
We are in a winter climate, but ... it is only a cottage.

Do you use the porch in the winter ?
If you heat it at all then some insulation is much better then none
Use rafter vents & R13
Then put 1-2" rigid board across the rafters for more insulation
