Identifying asbestos siding?

Hey all, new here, hopefully I've gotten this post in the right forum.

I wonder if anyone can help me in identifying asbestos exterior siding. I really don't think we have it, but I'm curious because the dog has done quite a bit of damage to it.

The house was built in 1983 and the siding probably about 12 inches tall by 8 or 10 foot long boards. The material feels fragile, I guess like what you might call pressed wood boards. It has almost a wet cardboard feel to the pieces that are particularly chewed through.

My understanding is asbestos siding is hard, not something a dog would easily chew through?

Attached are a few pics of it. The exposed material underneath wasn't this gray at first, it was more of a brown, but the elements have gotten to it. What do you think? Am I worrying too much over nothing or should I get it tested?

Doesn't look like asbestos, more like homosote or pressed board.

Defiantly not asbestos.

That’s LP, your last picture shows the signature LP knot on the panel.

17,000 dryer fires a year, when did you last clean the inside of the dryer near motor or the exhaust ducting?
