Ideas on how to create a water run off for cabana top (pics)

Hey guys I had a upholsterer make me a cabana top and curtains which came out great....... my problem is when it rains since the material is water proof all the water pools in the middle on top and caves in the top and pulls up the curtains............ what would be one way of possibly making a little raise through the center of the top so water runs off the sides? I was thinking maybe run 2 more beams through the center of the wood frame but have it raised up 5 inches? would that be enough any thoughts?

The roof needs to be inclined and the material on top needs to be taut to shed water. Material isn't the best product. You can put a shed roof on or a gable roof on or a centrally peaked roof on. This will shed water with a rigid roof material. The snow load is another issue. Once you start with roofing, you need it to carry everything your region will throw at it.
