how to tell if house is insulated

What are some ways I can tell if my house is insulated?

the sure way would be to poke some holes and see. Of course, you will cause a little bit of damage. If you have electrical plates or something on that wall, you can open that up and peak in (make sure you turn off power).

Another way is to get a thermal imager to see cold spots on the wall. That would be the expensive way.
