Foundation reinforcement help

New guy here. I need some suggestions on how to handle this situation. The house is single story adobe construction in Northern New Mexico and is typical owner built (slapped together with whatever was laying around). I purchased this house as a fixer.
Rain water from the roof plus tree roots have eroded the soil under the foundation. The floor decking has been secured but the back wall needs attention. Will a reinforced block retaining wall be sufficient? It will be back filled and compacted. Gutters will be added to solve the water problem. There are no significant grading issues on the lot.

Spooky. Sounds like a good engineer is in your future. Design work on foundations like this are not, IMO, DIY stuff. I'd suggest getting it engineered, then you do the bull work.
