Folding Wall for Garage/Shop Separation

Have a 3 car garage that will be separated for a shop. I plan on building a folding wall (like many High School Gyms have used) out light weight steel framing studs. I am looking for suggestions on a light weight material to cover it with and add turgidity to the frame.
The whole system will be mounted on a roller/track attached to the ceiling.

Any suggestions?

Turgid: Swollen.

What's that got to do with a frame?

How about some sheet steel to add rigidity.

Some sort of 1/4 inch luan type stuff is light weight and if sufficiently screwed in to the steel studs would firm up well I would think.

I was thinking the same. "Door skins" on metal framing. Can probably get 2 pieces from one skin.

Thanks for the replies.

Turgid ? yea auto spell makes up it's own mind.

I was thinking luan as well but was open to other suggestions. Planning to put a 2" foam in the middle to dampen sound and help heating during winter months
