Exterior wall

I live in a townhouse where my garage is connected to the side of my house. I want to finish the garage and tear down the wall between house and garage. The floor joist on the second floor run parallel to the wall I want to remove, but being that the wall is the "end" of my house, how do I know of this is considered a load bearing wall?
Thanks

what is your roof line? gable roof? hip roof?
what about the second floor? joists running in the same direction as first?
and how and where does the garage roof intersect with the wall you want to take down?

you'll probably need a header of some sort regardless.
